AMC’s ‘The Killing’ season 3 spoilers: Unexpected … romance scoop?

There are some things that you tend to expect on a show that is as dramatic (and carries with it such a dramatic title) as “The Killing”: The atmosphere will be depressing, there will be blood, and by the time that the season is over, we are going to see someone ultimately brought to justice.

However, what may surprise you at this moment is that there could be something that happens along the way that drops a few jaws onto the floor. According to a new report from Entertainment Weekly, there is going to be some sort of unexpected kiss that takes place before the end of the season. What are we talking about here specifically? Obviously, this will be between two characters, presumably ones that we have already come to know on the show over the past several episodes.

The fact that there is room for a kiss to even happen right now comes as somewhat of a surprise, especially given everything else that is going on with the show. You still have a major investigation that is unfolding, a manhunt is on the way for Mills, and Linden is desperate to try and right one of the wrongs of her past when it comes to Ray Seward being locked up behind bars. Will she be able to conquer the mountain and successfully battle her demons? We will find out in the episodes ahead.
