Landman season 3 premiere date: EP talks current timeline
When are we going to have a chance to see Landman season 3 premiere over on Paramount+? It is obviously clear that the season 2 finale just aired, but is it ever too early to get back on the speculative train? We don’t think so!
Of course, we do recognize that there are a lot of variables that play into things here. The start of production is one, and the needs of the streaming service are another. Paramount has final say on this stuff, but we do not anticipate them shifting their strategy for the series at all. Odds are, they will be looking to place the Billy Bob Thornton drama once more in the late 2026 / early 2027 window.

Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter recently, co-creator Christian Wallace does confirm that that production will be starting off in May, but also indicated that they are looking to keep the schedule roughly the same:
… We’re in a groove. We are a little bit later than we were the last two seasons, but that only matter for us because of the heat in Texas. When we get back into production this year, it’s going to be pretty full on, and just getting hotter. That’s the big struggle from a production standpoint for us being on set every day. We have so many exteriors, and that’s a good thing because this show thrives in the dust and the heat and the reality of that gritty, hot world. But it is hard on the crew and cast, and on everybody. Twelve-hour days in 100-plus degree weather is no joke. But that is our cross to bear, not the audiences’. I’m excited about the schedule and I think the rhythm we’re in right now works really well.
One other thing that Landman has the luxury of is being a series that relies more on characters and not visual effects. This makes this sort of quicker turnaround possible! If this series was The Boys or House of the Dragon, we likely would be waiting until spring or summer next year to see it.
