The Traitors US season 4 episode 6: Will Ron Funches recover?
As we look towards The Traitors US season 4 episode 6, we come with one simple question: Can someone give Ron his joy again?
We will admit that going into this season, Ron was one of the people we were most excited to see. For starters, he’s a hilarious comedian; beyond that, every interview we’ve heard him in suggests that he’s a genuinely good person invested in making the world smile more. So to see what’s happening to him so far this season has been nothing short of brutal.

Let’s just go ahead and pose the big question: Why is Ron so ostracized for targeting Porsha Williams when she gave him every reason to do so? Also, why aren’t Colton Underwood or Eric Nam being anywhere near as isolated for their misreads on Tiffany Mitchell? The treatment of his remains one of the more frustrating aspects of the season, as it feels like so many decided after the Porsha vote to no longer give him a chance. You can argue that Ron could be doing more to get to know people — he indicated that him shying away from that is a strategic decision — but it is also harder in social settings when you know that people want you out of the game. You often project energy in life that is being thrown at you first.
What we are trying to say is that moving into the next The Traitors US episode, we hope Ron can find a way to recover. As of right now, it feels like he is on borrowed time, which is especially a shame given that he is a Faithful. If he does find a way to survive, it would honestly be nice if he was able to identify a Traitor and get a win.
Or, as an aside, what if Ron was recruited to be a Traitor at some point? If people are going to target you, it makes sense to try and get a little vengeance! He is just one of the people who is easiest to root for at this point — after all, who doesn’t love an underdog?
