Dexter: Resurrection season 2 premiere date: November update

Is some more news on Dexter: Resurrection season 2 on the horizon? Make no mistake that at this point, we would love more info as soon as possible!
First and foremost, let’s just start things off here by noting that the show recently got an official renewal, so let’s just hope that this is something that actually sticks in this instance. Remember here that we are talking about a franchise that saw Original Sin get renewed and then canceled, which does explain at least a little bit of the trepidation that we’ve got at this point.

Still, we are reasonably hopeful that Michael C. Hall and the rest of the cast are going to be able to come back moving into the summer or fall of next year, especially since the first season is both critically beloved and commercially successful. It has brought a lot to the table already and moving forward, there are a ton of different teases when it comes to potential Big Bad villains. Consider the New York Ripper — or, some of the files that Dexter Morgan found following the end of the Leon Prater story.
Alas, we do not think that there are a lot of details that are going to be revealed this month. However, we would love to know if anyone else from Miami Metro is going to become a larger part of the story now. Just consider that with Batista now gone, it makes all the sense in the world that a few other people are going to dig into this case to the best of their ability. They will need to understand more about why he is suddenly gone, and then also Dexter’s culpability in all of it. Remember that Angel did his best to keep his “work” in New York City a secret from both Quinn and Masuka.
