As we look more towards Down Cemetery Road season 1 episode 4, we absolutely have our fair share of questions.
Have we learned some things about the series’ central mystery? Absolutely. Take, for example, the fact that there was a top-secret military operation that Singleton was seemingly a part of. The same goes for Downey, who is on his own sort of rogue operation with Sarah. There is a chance that the two could work together, but we recognize her reasons for concern. In particular, we get it why she is working to get back to Zoe as soon as possible.

While hiding out, Sarahs learns more about Downey. Zoë ruffles feathers as she seeks new collaborators for her investigation.
Now, are we surprised that Zoe could be coming up against some opposition? Absolutely not. What we learned during episode 3 is that to an extent, there are a lot of people concerned about whatever is going on here … even if some of the finer details remain unclear. The police are even trying to keep her away! It really just feels like we’re in a situation here where there is some sort of dark secret that is either going to wreck careers or someone’s actual life. Because of this, we also have a pretty clear bit of evidence here that there are some more people who are going to die before the season is done. Just prepare for more secrets, and for Sarah to continue to find herself caught in the middle of all the chaos.
So far, what we have here is a complicated but thoroughly entertaining mystery — one that certainly suggests that the drama is only going to escalate.
