Riot Women season 1 episode 4 spoilers: The talent contest!

As we get prepared to see Riot Women season 1 episode 4 on BBC One next week, why not set the stage further for what is to come? We’ve made it to the halfway point here and by virtue of that, we tend to think that every single story is going to continue to challenge these characters. Also, we aren’t quite sure that we would have it any other way!
So what will the focal point of the next part of the story be? Think in terms of a talent contest, and a chance for a lot of the women to show off their musical expertise. Of course, by virtue of that, there is also a chance that they could ruffle some feathers — but is that really just the cost of doing business? Let’s just say that there’s a reason to argue that for now.

If you look below, you can see the full Riot Women season 1 episode 4 synopsis with more insight on what lies ahead:
It’s the talent contest! After six weeks at Beth’s house, a happy, healthy Kitty’s world shifts when she runs into her abusive ex-boyfriend Gavin, and SpongeBob brings news of her elusive gangland father. Nisha is backed into a brutal corner at work, and instead of the bland pop song they’ve practised, the Riot Women decide to sing a much more incendiary song, one that Beth and Kitty wrote last week.
At this point, of course it is our hope that we’re going to just see this storyline continue forward in some unexpected places, but also that the women start to see even more of a reaction to their music. We know that this is the sort of show that is looking to say a lot about the women, their talent, and the community around them.
