‘Glee’ season 5 notes: Highlights via Naya Rivera, Kevin McHale

“Glee” fans, you have quite a reason to be happy right now. Season 5 of the Fox musical / comedy is starting up in a matter of weeks, and the cast is already starting to prepare for its launch by getting together and having a little bit of fun … even if they are also simultaneously working. We’re talking here about a publicity shoot that took place at the end of last week, and in addition to taking some shots with Lea Michele, Cory Monteith, and others, there was also plenty of silliness that we had a chance to witness via the power of the internet.

In a post on her Instagram page, Naya Rivera shared a shot of Kevin McHale’s Artie sporting what appeared to be his best impersonation of a member of a church choir. Is it a funny look for him? Definitely, but we have to say that we rather like it.

Naya has had a pretty busy summer, in between work on her solo album, spending time traveling with her boyfriend Big Sean, doing photo shoots, and also landing a new endorsement deal with Bud Light. This one is rather surprising given the show that she stars on, but Naya has been diversifying her brand a little as of late. She already had an endorsement deal with M&Ms, and starred in the Super Bowl commercial where she came up with all sorts of ways in which to try and devour her chocolate companion.
