‘True Blood’ season 6, episode 3 preview: Alexander Skarsgard gets a tip (video)
Last week on “True Blood” season 6, Alexander Skarsgard’s Eric Northman came to a realization that in order to stop the Governor of Louisiana from destroying vampires as we know them, he was going to have to find some way to take him down a peg. At first, his strategy was to try and murder him after coming to see him disguised as a human. However, that did not exactly go so well.
So instead, we turn to Eric’s new plan: Operation “take away the daughter from the equation.” This move surprises us about Eric in some ways, and for one primary reason: Why would he think that killing Willa would do anything to slow Governor Burrell down? From this vantage point, it seems like that would only give him a new sense of purpose to destroy vampires faster than ever as some sort of revenge killing.
This is why we think that Willa, in the video below, really comes up with what is a win-win scenario: She gets to stay alive, and she informs Eric of some information that he could need if he wants to further along his mission. She offers to tell him about some research and studies that Burrell has initiated as a way to destroy vampires, and this is information that could prove much more valuable than taking her life.
Granted, there’s still another massive problem in here: You have to do something with this information. Eric’s only one man, and the humans are getting stronger by the day.
What do you think about this video, and do you really think that Willa has actually managed to bail Eric out? Be sure to share some of your thoughts below! Also, you can check out another “True Blood” sneak peek (this one revolving more around Jessica and Bill) by heading on over to the link here.
