Grotesquerie season 2 renewal: A July 2025 update

What are the chances that we hear something more regarding a Grotesquerie season 2 at some point before July is over?

Now, we do know at this point that there are plenty of reasons to be questioning the show’s future … and also reasons for frustration. Just remember for a moment here that at this point last summer, filming was going on with Niecy Nash-Betts and the rest of the cast. Now, we are well over six months removed from the season 1 finale airing and there are plenty of questions that remain.

So, what can we say for now? Well, we are unfortunately still waiting, and we do tend to think that a lot is tied to what is happening with executive producer Ryan Murphy. This is someone who has a lot of interests and beyond that, a number of different projects all across the board. We wish that we could sit here and say that there is a clear timeline for the future but there’s not. This is someone who has another season of American Horror Story to also potentially make down the road.

Our general feeling for now is that there is not going to be more Grotesquerie news this month, and there may not be for several more months, either. Our general feeling is that patience is going to be a virtue here, but we’ve yet to get a sentiment at all that this is going to be a one-season show. If FX wanted to cancel Grotesquerie, isn’t there a chance that they would have done it already? This is why we are still hopeful for the future, even if it does require a long wait to get there.
