‘Falling Skies’ season 3: Noah Wyle, Doug Jones, and more Comic-Con details
The sky may be falling on TNT, but it’s opening up with joy now for fans looking to see the show at Comic-Con. Not only is “Falling Skies” going to have yet another panel at the San Diego event this year, but you’re also going to see the presence of someone who is a bit of a geek favorite in Doug Jones (who we fondly remember first and foremost for his work in the “Hellboy” movies). Thanks to Jones’ expertise in playing complicated characters and voices like Abe or Cochise there are probably more questions from a technical point of view that we would have for him than anyone else.
As for the finer details of the Comic-Con panel this year, it will be held on Friday, July 19 and be following be an autograph session. Not only will Noah Wyle be there, but so will Moon Bloodgood, Will Patton, Drew Roy, Connor Jessup, Colin Cunningham and Sarah Carter, and also executive producers Remi Aubuchon and Greg Beeman.
There are some easy questions to ask at the panel, with our personal favorite being what the writers and producers have done so far this season to raise the bar. With the good vs. evil scope becoming so confusing and with Tom in a new position of power, we no longer feel like we’re just watching the sci-fi version of Bran Stark’s storyline from “Game of Thrones.” (And be honest: Would you rather have a Bran story, or one surrounding the Lannisters?)
New episodes of “Falling Skies” will continue airing Sunday nights at 9:00 p.m. Eastern time on TNT.
