‘True Blood’ season 6 spoilers: Worlds colliding in a pretty big-time way
The one thing we know about “True Blood” season 6 is that the vampires are screwed this year, unless they start to get their act together. These arrogant supernatural beasts have long assumed that they were on the top of the food chain, willing to dig their fangs into anything and everything that came their way. As it turns out, though, this may not be happening for them in the same way anymore.
Speaking to TV Guide, Kristin Bauer van Straten explains that there is a worlds-colliding phenomenon, as shifters and werewolves also are seeing their stake in this battle rise courtesy of the Newlin incident (as we are forever calling it). It is something that is going to play a key role in figuring out whether or not vampires live to see the other side this year:
“A couple of the different worlds are overlapping … Vampires aren’t the only ones in danger and aren’t the only ones fighting, and we’re not really going to know who’s on what side.”
One thing that we can say for sure is that it’s certainly not looking good for the vampires this year. We are poised to potentially lose a major character this season, and given where they stand in the world right now, vampires like Bauer van Straten’s Pan or Deborah Ann Woll’s Jessica have to be in the spotlight in a way that nobody desires.
But enough about death and fear for now; who wants to learn more about Sarah Newlin returning to the show? If you want to check out what Anna Camp has to say on her story ahead, take a look here. You’ll be very happy you did.
