‘The Vampire Diaries’ season 5: Who is hoping to return to the Mystic Falls world?

There are a few things that you can say for sure about “The Vampire Diaries”: Guys are going to take off their shirts, there is going to be an abundance of supernatural creatures, and the producers are going to be very good to their cast. This means that even if you have not been featured on the show in a while, it is still very much possible that you could come back at any point. Heck, even some dead characters were brought back near the end of season 4.

So who is one person hoping for a season 5? How about April! Grace Phipps is hoping for some sort of return, even if the writers have not said that she will be coming back.

Based on the extremely-positive things that Phipps had to say about the show to Wetpaint, she is at least saying some of the right things to convince the team to have her back for more:

“The show a very successful show and all of the writers are incredible and I end up knowing really absolutely nothing! The extent to which I am not in the loop is hilarious. It’s such a group of fantastic actors and there are a lot of great actors in this town that you get really blessed to work with and then sometimes there are people that just give you less and it’s less fun, you end up with that. But on Vampire Diaries you end up with fantastic actors and everyone you’re working with is sharing energy and it’s such a rush so I just hope I get to say hi and go work with those people again.”

If April does return, it would mean good things for at least some characters on the show … in particular Jeremy, since it would give him someone around his own age to communicate with, and not just graduated characters who are off terrorizing a different sort of place.
