‘Person of Interest’ season 3 spoilers: Amy Acker hopeful to return
You know that you have a talent when you have so many shows that work with you, and then have their fans clamor to have you back at some point in the future. For Amy Acker, it has been this way ever since she had a love story with Grumpy on the first season of “Once Upon a Time,” and now many of the fans of “Person of Interest” are understanding how they feel after seeing her for multiple season 2 episodes as Root.
So is a season 3 return in the cards? Despite suggesting on the show last spring that it would happen, there is no indication yet; however, Acker asserted to Entertainment Weekly that this is likely a gig that we will probably see at some point:
“Nothing is officially in the books … I feel like they gotta bring me back. I want to come back. It is a fun character. She’s smart and deliciously evil but with what she feels like are good reasons.”
“Person of Interest” is making some pretty significant changes in the new season. Despite having some strong ratings Thursday nights at 9:00 p.m. Eastern after “Two and a Half Men,” the show is moving over to Tuesdays at 10:00 in an effort to shore up a time slot that has given the network some trouble in recent years. Meanwhile, the Thursday slot is now being occupied by “The Crazy Ones” along with the Ashton Kutcher comedy, which is being shifted back an hour for its eleventh season.
What do you think: Should Acker return to “Person of Interest”? We want to hear from you below! Meanwhile, take a look at the link here if you want to read some more news on the CBS fall schedule.
