‘Supernatural’ season 9: Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles returning to Comic-Con
Another year, and it looks like there will be another great “Supernatural” panel at Comic-Con, and we also have recognition from the convention that this is one of the most-popular series in San Diego. Want proof? For the third year in a row, the show is going to be in the massive Hall H. As for a date, it will take place on the final day of the convention on Sunday, July 21. (There is no official start time listed yet.)
As for who will be in attendance this year, the lineup will feel pretty familiar: Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles, Misha Collins and Mark A. Sheppard along with executive producers Jeremy Carver and Robert Singer. This will be one of the first opportunities that you have to receive some actual scoop about the show’s ninth season, given that the writers and executive producers are extremely secretive during the writing process. As a matter of fact, they are not even announcing the official start date for production.
What we can tell you is that the series will start to get things going within the next several weeks in Vancouver, and Collins will be a regular again after spending the past two seasons as a recurring player. With the series likely getting closer to the end, we also expect there to be more and more callbacks to the show’s earlier days (at least when it comes to the people who are actually alive, a list that seems to be dwindling by the episode).
Is this the Comic-Con panel that you are most excited to see? We’ll have more details pretty soon. Also, be sure to visit the link here if you want to check out some of the latest “Supernatural” season 9 rumors.
