‘Hart of Dixie’ season 3 spoilers: All about Zoe, Wade, and George

Are we finally going to see an end to the primary love triangle on “Hart of Dixie”? If you have started to grow tired of seeing Zoe, Wade, and George all dance around when it comes to romance over the first two seasons, you may be able to prepare soon to take a deep breath, and settle into something new for a time.

Speaking in a new interview with Wetpaint, showrunner Leila Gerstein explained that for the upcoming third season, it was going to be time to put some of the stories surrounding these three characters “to rest,” and to focus on new potential stories and love triangles. This is a large, complicated world, and there is therefore so much more than just a single story involving three people.

As for whether or not this story is ending because of Zoe getting together with someone new, all we can say is that the events in the finale will be addressed in some way during the premiere, mostly because it is impossible not to. It’s also not much of a surprise to hear that Scott Porter believes that George and Zoe will be together at some point to at least try out a relationship, even if that time is not right now:

“I think it will happen at some point. When you have, I’m gonna say an borderline unhealthy infatuation, something that the two of them have, I think it can eat away at you a little bit. I think everybody needs to make sure they get some of these things out of their system before they try to settle down.”
