‘True Blood’ season 6 spoilers: Deborah Ann Woll on Jessica’s ‘terror’
If there is one way right now to sum up just what Jessica is feeling on “True Blood” season 6 it is complete and utter fear, almost on crippling levels. Even though she is a vampire with the ability (in theory, anyway) to live forever, there are a plethora of obstacles that are now managing to keep her worried constantly about her mortality / immortality.
What’s one of them? Let’s talk about emotional abandonment. She no longer has many of her former allies and friends around, and thanks to a transformation at the hands of Lilith, her maker in Bill Compton surely has a good many other things to worry about right now.
In speaking on this very subject in a new interview with TV Guide, Deborah Ann Woll does her best to elaborate:
“Jess is terrified, absolutely out-of-her-mind terrified. He’s the last tether for her. She doesn’t have Hoyt. She doesn’t have Jason anymore. It’s really scary to think that the one person she used to rely on is in this internal battle.”
At some point during this season, you would have to hope that she would find some sort of shoulder to lean on; otherwise, Jessica could be the character at the center of all of these terrifying “someone is going to die” rumors that we have been hearing about over the course of the past several months. Remember, the person who does end up saying goodbye to the show will be doing so prior to the finale.
Do you think that Jessica will find anyone new to rely on this season on “True Blood,” or is she really just stuck with dealing with Bill? If you want to check out some more of the latest “True Blood”-related gossip, our advice is to head on over to the link here.
