‘The Client List’ season 2 finale review: Jennifer Love Hewitt series ends with a bang
So where in the world does “The Client List” go from here? (Warning: Massive spoilers ahead for those who haven’t seen the episode.)
Remember The Rub? Well, it’s blown up now thanks to a pretty panicky final episode that at times felt like the TV version of “Ocean’s Eleven” (minus the big-name cameos). We’re left with the words “I can explain,” as a bloody Riley stands in front of Evan and Kyle trying to describe what in the world happened to bring her to the place that she is wearing a trench-coat, lingerie, and little else in what was a pretty horrible scene. One of the motivations here is to clearly dispose of the list and keep the business a secret, but there had to be a better way to do this … right? Really, the implications that we took from this was that Riley was more interested in starting over than anything else.
We saw the shock ending tonight almost as a challenge to the folks over at Lifetime: If they don’t renew the show from here, they will have some serious explaining to do to the fans. You can’t end the show with something this dramatic, can you? The real question that we have is when the show could be back. Thanks to Hewitt’s pregnancy, the filming for a third-season is almost surely going to be pushed back for a while, so if it gets renewed, this will be something that will have to be visited and discussed.
What was your take on the “Client List” finale? We want to hear your thoughts below! Also, if you do want to check out even more scoop as to whether or not Hewitt’s pregnancy could really change the show, you can do so here.

Riley an Kyle need to have the baby. It makes absolutely NO sense to make Evan the father. They never even had sex for cryin out loud!
