‘The Client List’ season 2 finale spoilers: Will Riley’s secret get out?
Before we say anything else about “The Client List,” let’s start things off with some potentially good news for those of you who frequently study the ratings. The promo below says that we’re looking at the “season finale,” and not the show’s last episode. If Lifetime cancels the show now, they risk a lot of angry fans banging at their door.
Now, let’s turn to the actual episode itself. Riley’s in some serious trouble Sunday night, as her entire life is at danger of being exposed. Can she solve the mystery in time? You can easily expect the most intense episode of the season this week, and one that will be littered with shockers. Just check out the official synopsis for some evidence of that:
“Riley (Jennifer Love Hewitt) discovers the “client list” has been stolen and she must find out who took it before her secret life is exposed. Meanwhile, Evan’s (Colin Egglesfield) investigation into Carlyle (Johnathon Schaech) reveals that Nikki (Laura Leigh) used to be his employee, putting Evan one step closer to Riley’s hidden life. Dale (Greg Grunberg) and Lacey (Rebecca Field) get news that could accelerate their plans to have a family of their own. Derek (Rob Mayes) asks Selena (Alicia Lagano) to make a commitment in their relationship, but Selena isn’t sure she’s ready. Riley’s gambling client, Jimmy (Marcus Coloma), crosses the line when he tracks down Riley at home and runs into Kyle (Brian Hallisay).”
This is going to be an interesting case study to follow in the months ahead for one primary reason: Jennifer Love Hewitt’s pregnancy. She will be giving birth around the same time that she would be typically getting ready to work on the show, and we would be shocked and amazed if a third season starts around the same time as season 2 because of it. Therefore, we expect a long wait until the show comes back on the air if renewed.
Are you okay with waiting, and what do you want to see happen during the finale? Be sure to share your thoughts below!
