‘Dexter’ season 8 spoilers: Meet someone of the ‘caring’ type
As we’ve told you recently, “Dexter” season 8 is getting close to filming their series finale; as a matter of fact, this said event is taking place early next month, and we’re pretty sure that the entire set will be guarded more than Area 51 in an effort to keep out spoilers.
What we have for you here is not about that particular episode, but one that airs a couple of weeks before it. According to SpoilerTV, Anzu Lawson is going to play a nurse on the 10th episode of the final season … and that’s it. That may not be much in the way of scoop (mostly because it is just a tiny detail), but think about how it opens the speculation floodgates. Why is there a nurse cast? Is someone in the hospital? It’s pretty easy to think along these lines, since there are only so many places that you could see someone with this sort of profession working.
This would not be the first time that Lawson has actually played a nurse on a major television show, having done so previously on NBC’s “Parenthood.” Most of her credits are bit parts, including “Scandal,” “‘Til Death,” “Grey’s Anatomy,” and “Entourage.” We don’t expect this one to be hugely significant here, and the bigger news is that there is a need for a nurse on the show, more so than just that a particular actress is playing one.
