‘Britain’s Got Talent’: Woman tries to egg Simon Cowell during Richard & Adam performance

We knew that the “Britain’s Got Talent” final would be intense, but we didn’t really expect anyone to try anything so awful as to try to pelt eggs as anyone while an act was on stage. The moment happened during the performance of opera singer / brothers Richard & Adam, when a woman came up and looked as though she was going to pelt Simon Cowell with an egg.

This ended up being a pretty awkward exchange for all parties involved. Not only was the woman unsuccessful in her plight, but the boys continued to perform as though there was nothing that happened at all. Following the performance, hosts Ant & Dec were quick to apologize in full for the incident, and promised that they would get to the bottom of what happened. In turn, Simon Cowell also vowed to find the guilty party.

The saddest thing about this moment is that it took away from what was otherwise a very solid performance, and this will probably be what people talk about more so than what either Richard or Adam. We do not have a video of the entire incident for you below, and we’re sure that producers are going to consider much more in the way of security after this one.
