NBC’s ‘Parenthood’ season 5 spoilers: Matt Lauria very interested in return
By now, you have hopefully heard the amazing news that not only is “Parenthood” going to be back for a season 5, but the NBC series is actually getting an opportunity to show what it is made of with a longer season (albeit on a pretty challenging night in Thursdays).
So with this opportunity to tell even more stories moving forward, does it mean that we’ll have a chance to see a number of familiar faces? We hope so, and one of them is certainly making it clear that they would like to be back for as many episodes as they possibly can. Speaking in a new interview with TVLine while at the ATX Festival, Matt Lauria suggested that there are talks potentially to have Ryan back for as long as the producers want him:
“If they want to include me, I’m fired up to be a part of it … We don’t know what the details [for Season 5] are going to be, but [showrunner] Jason [Katims] recently asked me, ‘Are you up for it?’ and I told him, ‘I’m up for it!’ And since then, there have been some conversations back and forth between my manager and [higher ups].”
We figure that it will ultimately still be at least a month or so before we really find out many details at all about who is coming back on “Parenthood,” mostly because it will take a while for scripts to be made. We anticipate filming to start at some point near the end of July, and at that point it will be very easy to tell who is invited back for more.
Do you want to see more of Lauria? If you want to read a little bit more news when it comes to the “Parenthood” renewal, the best thing that you can do is head on over to the link here.
