‘Game of Thrones’ season 3 finale spoilers: Reactions to the Red Wedding and more

It literally feels almost like it was mere days ago that “Game of Thrones” season 3 began, and months upon months of speculation led up to the fantastic premiere. Then, we had quite possibly the most stunning event in the history of the show in the Red Wedding. Fans (and Twitter) are still in the process of recovering, and what this episode proved to people who did not read the books in advance is that this is a show where literally anything can happen, and even the heroes are not safe from a tragic death.

So how in the world can the finale build on this? Well, there are a few ways, based on what “Mhysa” director David Nutter said in a new chat with The Huffington Post. He explained that one of the major focuses for this episode will be showing how a number of separate houses across Westeros will react to the death of Robb and Catelyn Stark. After all, did you really think that an event like this would really be kept from everyone? The only person who may not learn about it is Daenerys, though that’s mostly because she is so far out of the loop for everything.

Specifically, the major events that you can expect to see more of are the Lannister family’s role in the Red Wedding (which “The Rains of Castamere” has a very direct connection to), and also the full-fledged story of what is going on with Stannis Baratheon, who we have been waiting for quite some time to understand.
