‘The X Factor’ USA: Fifth Harmony news; Carly Rose Sonenclar sings One Direction

Carly Rose SonenclairWe’re only focusing on a pair of “X Factor” USA acts today, but once you read this article, we have a pretty good feeling that you will understand why. There are some big things coming up, but we’ll kick things off here with something fun that we can share with you.

The video below is Carly Rose Sonenclar’s latest cover, and it’s a rather powerful one. She is performing the One Direction hit “Stole My Heart,” and dedicating it to her two cousins, who lost their father a little earlier in the year. The subject matter behind this performance may be rather sad, but we hope that the song itself provides some sort of comfort to everyone out there who is mourning or missing someone. It’s an emotional take on the song, and given the context, we don’t really want to say much else outside of giving you the opportunity to check it out.

Fifth Harmony announcement – Shifting gears now, it appears as though we are inching closer to finding out some of the first details about the upcoming single release from Fifth Harmony. The girl group from this past season has hinted on Twitter that there will be a major reveal coming on Friday, which will likely be both the title of the song and also when it will end up being available for purchase.

For the group and even for the show itself, this is big news. While Emblem3’s “Chloe” has become a modest success, there is still not a track associated with this show that has turned into a smash in the same way that “American Idol” has seen with some of its former contestants.
