‘White Collar’ season 5 spoilers: Matt Bomer’s Neal Caffrey has a new partner
While “White Collar” may not be back on the air until this fall, we do have some more news regarding who Matt Bomer’s Neal Caffrey is going to be spending quite a bit of time with.
If you may recall, the new season is going to start with our characters in a pretty precarious position. Peter (Tim DeKay) is going to behind bars as a result of what transpired in the season finale, where he was wrongfully accused of murder. Therefore, he has to work to get himself exonerated while behind bars … and that is going to be no easy task.
Even more unfortunate for Peter is that while he is behind bars, life will go on for everyone else. According to The Huffington Post, Warren Cole of “The Following” and another USA series in “Common Law” (rest in peace) has been booked for the recurring role of Agent David Seigel, a man who has a few tricks up his sleeve that set him apart from Peter. He’s noticeably younger, and is going to give Neal a run for his money in the “dashing” department. As for how in the world the two are going to get along, we really don’t have much of an answer to that yet.
All we can say for now is that it really doesn’t feel too much like summer without “White Collar” around, but that is just the way in which the network has set things up this year. Plus, the delay between seasons gives USA the opportunity to launch new projects, and also allow Bomer to work on some other things.
What do you think about this casting, and are you already hating the long wait? In case you want to check out the first official “teaser” for “White Collar” season 5, all you have to do is click here.

White Collar is the most fun on TV and I miss it as soon as each season ends. Waiting until fall is toooooooooo long, but USA must think it can stand up to the new fall shows on the major networks. I hope so, because I would like to enjoy White Collar for a long time yet.
