AMC’s ‘The Killing’ season 3 video: It’s all about the investigation

If you are ready for yet another look at Sunday night’s season 3 premiere for “The Killing,” we’re glad to say that we have it for you here. This looks as though it is going to be yet another intense, surprising episode, but the stakes are going to be raised so much further than just an attempt to solve the murder of one person.

The theme this year, as you have likely heard time and time again already, is a series of murders that stretches all across the city of Seattle. The new promo below lets you know that some of what you enjoyed from the first two seasons (namely Linden and Holder) are each going to be back to anchor the investigation. As to what convinces Linden to abandon her new life, which includes living on an island with a new boyfriend, that still remains to be seen.

Now can the show drum up enough excitement to be enormously successful? Moving into season 3, that is one of the biggest issues at play. “The Killing” season 2 became excellent near the end, but one of its biggest issues was merely that there were not a lot of people still around to watch it. We’re going to keep a close watch on this series moving forward, largely because we are so interested in seeing whether or not a season 4 could still be a possibility. (Fingers crossed.)
