‘Arrow’ season 2 spoilers: Can Oliver Queen have his own Avengers?
What’s one hero when you can have several? The executive producers of “Arrow” have not wasted any time at all solving a central problem when it comes to the superhero genre in the long-term. It’s a pretty lonely profession and you are having to keep so much of your life a secret, so it gets pretty mundane if you choose not to share something with at least one person.
With that in mind, we’re actually glad that there are a pair already in the know in Felicity and Diggle, and we’re sure that someone else will probably find out at some point. Could it be Roy Harper? We like to imagine it so, since the guy is already pretty obsessed with the Hood anyway after the hero saved his life, plus Colton Haynes also dropped this pretty interesting teaser recently to MTV News that has us absolutely giddy:
“A few of the most important DC characters are going to be coming to ‘Arrow.’ And quite possibly working in a team together.”
Haynes also was apparently asked in this interview about Marc Guggenheim’s recent comments that Ryan Reynolds could come on board as the Green Lantern, which to us serves as further evidence that not everyone out there genuinely thought this comment was ironic. We still think that if there is a Green Lantern that shows up (which would be strange, given that this is a realistic world), we have a better shot of playing him than a huge Hollywood actor who played a character with superpowers in a movie that was not exactly a critical or commercial success.
In spinning this story in a more positive direction, let’s talk Laurel! If you want to hear some more scoop on the future of Katie Cassidy’s character, just be sure to check out the story over at the link here.
