‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 9 finale spoilers: About the Cristina / Owen issue…

In some of our recent “Grey’s Anatomy” articles about the finale, we’ve covered a little bit of what happens with Meredith giving birth to Derek’s baby (or at least trying to) and we’ve also shared some scoop on the pretty tragic situation that Callie and Arizona are about to deal with concerning infidelity.

In the middle of the couple catastrophe right now (which really also includes Jackson and Avery along with Jo and Alex), there is one pair that has been lost somewhat in the shuffle: Cristina and Owen. They divorced earlier this season, but they’ve stayed together despite differing on something that is absolutely imperative to any relationship: Children.

“There’s never been any suggestion that Cristina is going to meet anyone in the middle. Cristina is not that person. I do think that the more this Ethan situation plays out, the conversation that she and Owen have been avoiding so much really gets forced out into the open.”

Will this be enough to actually cause Cristina and Owen to be at an end by the time that the finale airs? We don’t quite know, but there has to be some sort of real solution to this for a change. This ghost will otherwise just hang over the both of them, and without a conclusion there is no way for either one of them to ultimately move forward in the relationship … if it is really meant to be at all.
