‘Supernatural’ season 8 finale spoilers: Misha Collins, Metatron, and a bus stop

SupernaturalSometimes, you just have to find enjoyment in the strangest of places. Since we don’t know a whole lot about the “Supernatural” season 8 finale, sometimes you have to just enjoy the simple things such as smiling at a photo of Castiel (Misha Collins) and Metatron (Curtis Armstrong) at a bus stop. If you saw this sort of thing while walking down the street, you would never imagine in a million years that they were two guys that were really plotting anything at all.

As a matter of fact, the popular angel and Metatron do have some interesting plans for the rest of Heaven’s current hierarchy in “Sacrifice,” and it involves finding a way to take many of them down a notch, especially the oh-so controlling character of Naomi. This is just one facet of this episode, which you can read about below courtesy of this official synopsis from The CW:

“With Crowley (guest star Mark Sheppard) poised to undo all the good they’ve ever done as hunters, Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) find themselves cornered. But with Kevin’s (guest star Osric Chau) help, the Winchester brothers bound into one last play against The Demon King. Metatron (guest star Curtis Armstrong) initiates a plan with Castiel (Misha Collins) to take on Naomi (guest star Amanda Tapping) and the bureaucracy of Heaven.”

Will Metatron appear in the show’s ninth season? At the time of Armstrong’s casting, it was left fairly ambiguous as to what his fate would be. We know that Collins will be a series regular again, so the opportunity will be there for some interesting stories.
