ABC’s ‘Revenge’ season 2, episode 20 preview: The Emily / Victoria face-off is here

After waiting around on “Revenge” this season with stories about the Initiative, love interests, and side-plots through the wazoo, we are finally back to the roots of what everyone really has wanted to see since it was first revealed that Victoria Grayson was still alive: Her ultimate showdown with Emily Thorne. This is by far going to be one of the more epic story lines that we will have an opportunity to witness, mostly because the motivation for each party is going to be heightened versus what we have seen in the past.

For Emily, she knows now that she is closer to taking down the famous family than she ever has before. Her “relationship” with Daniel has turned into a full-on engagement, and she also has the information from the Falcon that can expose a weakness to the world.

Meanwhile, Victoria is already well enough aware that this woman means trouble for her empire, and while there was a certain part of her that wanted Emily to get together with Daniel earlier this season, she was doing it only to suit her interests at the time. Now that those interests are not longer being met, the push and pull will be great.

Of course, the question we really want an answer to is how in the world is Aiden handling the fact that a woman he loves is engaged to someone else, even if the engagement is not entirely real.
