‘Survivor Caramoan: Fans vs. Favorites’ preview: Can Reynold be stopped?

If there was one comparison that we could make between the following “Survivor Caramoan: Fans vs. Favorites” preview and one from a past season, it’s this: Suddenly, Reynold is being made out to be the new Troyzan in the game. Without his biggest ally in Malcolm around, it’s pretty clear that he is the biggest target left. He’s a huge threat when it comes to competitions, a pretty likable guy, and someone who could easily win the game if allowed to go far enough.

Unfortunately, this “I must win everything” strategy didn’t work for Troyzan, and we also have a feeling that it is not going to work very well for Reynold, either. While he may be able to win one or two immunities, he would be a legend to actually beat everyone else left in the game time and time again, especially with two physical players in Erik Reichenbach and Dawn Meehan and a mental player in Cochran, who actually has more immunities than anyone this season.

The only thing that Reynold really has to rely on at the moment is either himself making a new alliance that puts someone else in a better position, or the dominant alliance imploding. While the video below may just be massive misdirection, it does appear as though Cochran and Andrea are at least considering cutting either Brenda or Dawn. To us, this discussion doesn’t make much sense, given the fact that Dawn is the perfect final three bait. We’re hoping that this is Cochran really just giving her lip service, since Andrea is a much bigger target in the game.
