‘Real Housewives of Orange County’: Tamra Barney, Vicki Gunvalson now friends again

If you have watching this season of “The Real Housewives of Orange County” thus far, then there is probably one thing that you have noticed: Things have not exactly been smooth sailing between Vicki Gunvalson and Tamra Barney. The two ladies have already sparred over the opening of Tamra’s gym when she invited Vicki in order to try and smooth things over a little bit after last season, but that didn’t quite work out so well for a number of reasons. First, Vicki invited perpetual thorn-in-Tamra’s-side Alexis Bellino along for the ride, and then Alexis made a big to-do at the event and started to throw around the “bully” word again making all of the ladies fairly angry.

So are things still tense between Vicki and Tamra or are they little bit better now? Speaking in an interview with Us Weekly, Barney joked that they are “back together” as friends now, and are moving in a positive direction following a bonding trip that they took together to Mexico.

Ultimately, this is once again a good sign of turning tides for the Housewives community. At this point a year ago, we looked across the board at a number of fights that we thought were never going to end between some of these people. However, slowly and surely, people have patched things up. Kim Zolciak and NeNe Leakes have repaired their friendship after a pretty nasty few years, and we’ve heard that the tension between some “Real Housewives of New Jersey” stars has cooled after they collectively went through Hurricane Sandy together late last year. Now, we just have to hope for some rifts to be fixed over on the “Beverly Hills” series.
