ABC’s ‘Revenge’ season 2, episode 19 preview: Emily and Daniel’s interview

When you are dating a member of the prestigious Grayson family, there are a few things that you have to be prepared for: there will be constant lying and deception, Victoria will trying to manipulate power over anything and everything, and the press is going to try and weasel their way into just about every possible situation.

For the latest bit of evidence of this very thing, just take a look at the sneak peek below from Sunday night’s new “Revenge” season 2 episode “Identity.” This marks the return of the show after a few weeks off the air, and it also marks an opportunity for Emily to try and use her relationship with Daniel Grayson to her advantage yet again when it comes to winning over the press. While Daniel first gracefully answers some questions about taking over Grayson Global (claiming that it felt natural in many ways considering what his father is trying to do politically), Emily took a much more diplomatic approach in talking about what the future holds for herself and her other half.

What is perhaps more interesting than what is being said by either party here comes via the facial expressions of those sitting nearby. While we have on one standpoint Victoria Grayson looking as though she is about to yell at someone to get off her lawn, Jack looks like the human equivalent of Grumpy Cat. Not only does he no longer have the woman that he thought was the real Amanda Clarke, but the actual Amanda Clarke is getting married to a man who on paper, seems to have it all.
