‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 6 finale spoilers: Sheldon has a tough time
We’ve written recently about the story behind “The Big Bang Theory” season 6 finale, which is all about Leonard making a key decision when it comes to taking a job overseas. How will Penny react to it? While we’re sure that she will be sad, she is the sort of person that could find a way to move forward. As for Sheldon Cooper … we’re not quite so sure about that one.
According to TV Guide, Sheldon is going to feel a barrage of emotions over what is going on with his roommate. From one vantage point, he’ll be rather jealous that Leonard was offered a job over him, and then he’ll also be afraid that he will lose his friendship and loyalty. Despite Sheldon being the most impossible human being alive, he does have a big heart in there, and Leonard fills a certain part of his soul that Amy cannot. (And, as it should be noted, vice-versa.)
Hopefully, we will find out what decision Leonard opts to make at the end of the episode, which should lead to an interesting start to season 7. Much like Howard kicked off this year in space, it’s feasible the Leonard could be somewhere else for a time. Will he eventually return to his famous apartment? We like to think so, but who knows what the writers have cooked up? They have to find ways to keep the show fresh, and this may just be one of their many methods.
How do you think that Sheldon will function if Leonard does leave for a time? (He better hope that Raj comes to stay with him again.) Also, be sure to watch a preview for Thursday night’s “Big Bang Theory” episode here!
