‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 9 finale spoilers: Jessica Capshaw’s cryptic tease

If you currently want any real scoop on the storyline of the upcoming “Grey’s Anatomy” season 9 finale, good luck finding it. Shonda Rhimes and company have closed the vault on what is actually going to happen, but this does not mean that we should necessarily expect to be completely devoid of how the cast is reacting to it.

With that in mind, we turn to the world of Twitter, and specifically some details courtesy of Jessica Capshaw. It’s clear already that her character of Arizona is someone who has been through the wringer already courtesy of last year’s finale: she now only has one leg, and trying to rebuild the emotional confidence as a result of that has been a struggle lasting months upon months.

Sadly, the actress’ message makes it sound like someone else is going to be rocked to their core:

“I have been cleared to give these tidbits about the finale…it’s gonna be awesome, sad, exciting, frustrating, beautiful, heartbreaking…”

While we are sure that there are going to be some significant events taking place in this episode, we would also be admittedly surprised if one of these said events was tragedy on par with the plane crash. Rhimes cannot just repeat herself time and time again, and while there is a strong possibility that there will be a different sort of disaster, we have a hard time thinking that it is going to be on the level of a large-scale disaster like this or a shooting at the hospital.
