‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 9 spoilers: First look at ‘White Collar’s’ Hilarie Burton

Are you ready for a up-close-and-personal look at a certain “White Collar” actress entering the world of “Grey’s Anatomy” for a week? If so, be sure to check out the photo to the left!

This picture comes to us via ET Online, and it features Hilarie Burton in her first-ever appearance on the show as a craniofacial specialist who assists Meredith and Derek in some sort of case. Unfortunately, we don’t know too much else in the way of details just yet, save that this will be for the 22nd episode of the season that airs in early May.

Burton has managed to make herself an extremely busy actress as of late; in addition to playing Sara on the USA drama series, she also made a guest appearance last year on “Castle” and has been active in pilot season. Of course, she is probably still best known for appearing in more than a hundred episodes of the classic series “One Tree Hill,” which she first joined a full decade ago in 2003.

There’s no word on how long Burton will be around for on “White Collar” season 5, or if she will stay put here for any period of time longer than a week. There are only two episodes of “Grey’s Anatomy” left after this one, so if she does pop up in a later episode, she is not going to have that many options available to her thanks primarily to time restraints.
