‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 9 spoilers: Magic tricks and miracles

Now that “Grey’s Anatomy” seems to have their stories worked out for the remainder of season 9, there is not going to be much of a desire on their part to want to go back and switch things up at all. With that in mind, the upcoming 22nd episode of the season airing in a few weeks is going to not only press forward with the Miranda Bailey – CDC storyline, but start to raise questions about just how far Owen is really willing to go when it comes to caring for a child that needs him desperately.

There is no title attached to the 22nd episode of the season just yet, but you can check out a short synopsis for it before via SpoilerTV:

“Bailey continues to shut everyone out; Owen worries that Ethan could end up in foster care; a new craniofacial specialist comes to the hospital to work on a young patient; a magician’s assistant needs medical attention after a trick goes awry.”

When it comes to the Owen storyline, we are almost waiting for the show to drop when it comes to what happens between him and Cristina. We’ve known for some time that having children is a sticking point in their relationship, and spending time with Ethan is already starting to reawaken that parental gene in Kevin McKidd’s character. While we’re not saying by any means that we are for sure going to see the two split up over it, they are going to need to reach some sort of resolution here before either can move forward.
