TNT’s ‘Dallas’ season 2 finale spoilers: John Ross’ graveside visit
We teased earlier in the week that we’d have at least one more photo to share from the upcoming season 2 finale of “Dallas,” and it’s one that could possibly make you tear up yet again if you are a longtime fan of the series.
After all, this photo features none other than John Ross (Josh Henderson) making a graveside visit to his dad J.R. Ewing. While we don’t necessarily know how much of a role this scene will play in the finale as a whole, it is particularly notable when it comes to providing a specific feel to the episode. Even though the character (played by the legendary Larry Hagman) passed away weeks ago, the producers are very much intent, still, on keeping his memory alive. After all, it is his death that is pushing John Ross right now to solve the mystery of his death, in addition to putting together the pieces of his “masterpiece” as to what he was working on prior to the tragedy.
One of the reasons why the finale is so secretive right now is merely because of its length: it’s hard ultimately to keep track of events for an episode that runs for a lengthy two hours, and this is made even more dense thanks to the fact that this is the second week in a row that TNT has brought this upon “Dallas.” While we’re getting a great deal of quality content, there is still a part of us that questions the move, given that this is a rather large commitment to make of anyone for a serialized show.
But, we digress. The important thing to note is that we are going to have a motivated John Ross here, and that can be a dangerous thing for anyone that crosses his path. If you want to see what Jesse Metcalfe had to say about the finale through the perspective of Christopher, be sure to check out the story over at the link here.
