TNT’s ‘Dallas’ season 2 finale spoilers: Jesse Metcalfe on solving J.R. mystery
As we’ve teased just about all week long, Monday night’s “Dallas” season 2 finale is going to have quite a bit going on. Expect it to be powerful moments regarding the “who shot J.R.?” mystery, and also some character revelations for John Ross, Bobby, and some of the other faces we see in and around the Southfork community.
For Jesse Metcalfe, the actor behind Christopher Ewing explained to “Access Hollywood” recently that the focal point for the entire two-hour episode is going to be very simple:
“A lot unfolds as part of J.R.’s master plan … It’s all kind of surrounding his murder, and part of that mystery is possibly finding my mother and getting her shares of Barnes Global so we can possibly take over that company.”
There are of course questions floating around all over the place regarding Pam Barnes Ewing, but unlike the J.R. mystery, this is one that will probably not have a full conclusion in the finale itself. Metcalfe claims that Victoria Principal could possibly return to the show in season 3, though we still see this as relatively unlikely given that she has expressed a desire to leave her character in the past. (Even when Pam returned briefly in the original series, she was played by a different actress after extensive plastic surgery.)
Be sure to check back tomorrow, as we are going to have even more scoop published about what should be an exciting (and also extremely dramatic) way to say goodbye to the second season of the hit show.

We are going to find out that JR is actually Christopher’s biological father, and that in fact, Kristen never miscarried. I keep hoping Victoria Principal released that statement last month to sway speculation, and that she has decided to return in attempt to REALLY make a splash. I can’t imagine why she wouldn’t want to be a part of this terrific resurrection. If anything, she should just make some guest appearances. If her fans mean as much as they should to her, she should respect their request and stop being stubborn. I say that in no offense to her personally, I just really want to see her back. I have no interest in seeing another “fake” Pamela.

John ross could have had someone else kill j.r. Patricide is not uncommon especially in ancient times among the power hungry with an any means necessary mot is operadi in their amoral belief systems.

John Ross is the killer. Before you accuse me of being high on methamphetamine hear this: John Ross wanted half of South Fork so he could drill drill drill baby! Hollywood has given us great time travel stories before. Back To The Future had Marty McFly travel back and forth to the past from the present and future to witness himself and other family members in all kinds of scrapes and embarrassing predicaments, including being chased by terrorists etc. ok soooo? John Ross shot JR then the following day traveled BACK to the past in order to establish an alibi for himself in Dallas by talking to his daddy on the phone at the precise moment he was being shot in Mexico! Puzzled solved.

LMAO! Kristin Shepard and Jeff Faraday were Christopher’s biological parents and both of them are dead. Pam and Bobby basically bought Christopher after Kristin was found dead in the pool at Southfork. I think we are going to find out that Pam died of that mystery illness back in 1988 and that she never told anyone in an effort to keep those Barnes Global shares and funds in an account for Christopher to use against his Uncle Cliff someday, knowing how her dirty her brother could play. This will be Pamela’s final act and will have Christopher regretting what he said about his (adoptive) mother in the last episode. Dr. David Gordon will be the one to tell Christopher all of this tomorrow.

Christopher was adopted. Neither Bobby, nor Pam are the biological parents.
