‘Glee’ season 4 notes: The latest on Heather Morris, Cory Monteith, Mark Salling
In lieu of there being any major “Glee” scoop to share, why not present the next best thing in some stories related to the Fox series’ cast members?
Let’s start with what should be official verification of what everyone has suspected for the past week: Heather Morris is pregnant with her first child. You can see in photos published over at the link here that all of the rumors are indeed true, and she is in fact around three months along in her pregnancy. As for how the show is going to get around this (since Brittany S. Pierce is almost surely not going to be pregnant), you can chalk it up to just some well-placed camera tricks here and there for at least the final two episodes of this season. As for season 5, that’s going to be a little bit more difficult since she will be giving birth at some point during the middle of the fall shooting schedule. She will likely miss a good part of the season on maternity leave, though she may return for a few episodes at the very end.
Moving on, Cory Monteith is receiving some more public support from one of his “Glee” pals while he undergoes substance abuse treatment, which will in turn cause him to miss the last two episodes of this season. Speaking to Us Weekly, Mark Salling (Puck) commended his co-star on being brave enough to not only admit to a problem, but do so in a public forum:
“It takes balls . . . to go through that publicly. Period … It takes balls to go through that privately, but to go through it publicly like that — balls.”
Salling knows a thing or two already about confronting problems head-on, as he sought out earlier this year to blast and deny allegations that he got into an altercation with an ex-girlfriend. If you want to read some more “Glee” spoilers about what’s coming up for Lea Michele’s Rachel, you can do so over at the link here.

Truth Hurts: WOW! I agree! Except I thought Bobby and the shower / dream story was brilliant.

I have never seen a show go completely off the rails more than glee has done this year. They did something that is worse than dallas did when bobby came out of a shower and pretended the whole last season was a dream. They rewrote the character of rachel and as much as I like some of what she does on the show Lea Michele is not or never will be subtle or sexy. I never cared for the coupling of her and chirs colfer reminded me of the wendy whiner skits from saturday night live just not interested in any of that. Finally, the way they destroyed three years of hard work that Cory did to show Finn’s growth in learning to perform in less than 30 seconds in the break up and then basically had him hold a clipboard and clap for the non actors on glee was just heartbreaking and probably took it’s toll on the actor himself as well. The season three finale hinted at Finn being a part of the show and he was not on the first three episodes of the season and the audience noticed and now sadly 4 of the last 5 episodes of the season he will be in the background yet again. This season of glee destroyed the heart and soul of the show for a bunch of online idiots that probably did not watch the show in the first place but rather sit around waiting to hate on every article every mention of the show and every mention of the actor himself hope you like the lifeless boring glee you got congratulations. Cory deserved better and the audience that loved good acting and less itunes deserved better.
