‘Two and a Half Men’ season 10 spoilers: Hilary Duff to join Marilu Henner
We recently wrote that we are going to be seeing Marilu Henner stop by the season 10 finale of “Two and a Half Men,” where she will be taking on the role of a grandmother to one of Walden Schmidt’s new lady loves. The twist? He ends up actually falling for her more so than the girl he is actually dating.
Well, we now know just who this woman in question is going to be. According to TVLine, former “Lizzie McGuire” star Hilary Duff, whose recent comedy credits also include an episode of “Community” as one of the token mean girls, is going to be appearing as a woman who is sure to be pretty heartbroken when she finds out the news that Ashton Kutcher’s character has feelings for someone so close to her. Duff’s character will be named Stacey, and we don’t know much else about her (though that is really par for the course with many “love interest” characters on this show).
Duff’s career has certainly been an interesting one to follow ever since her time on the Disney Channel ended. She has taken a little bit of time to get married and start a family, and while she has been asked repeatedly over the years as to whether or not she wants to return to music, nothing has come of it. (She has, however, expressed an interest in traveling down that road again at some point in the future.)
Meanwhile, Henner is a current contestant on “All-Star Celebrity Apprentice,” and as silly as the show may be, it may be allowing her more opportunities to be in the limelight.
Do you like Duff for this role, and do you hope that it could be a nice first step towards a full-time return to TV? Be sure to share your thoughts below, and you can catch a preview for Thursday night’s “Two and a Half Men” here.
