AMC’s ‘The Killing’ season 3 spoilers: Check out the first official teaser!
As it turns out, there was more to be excited about during Sunday night’s finale to “The Walking Dead” than just seeing who made it out alive; AMC also took advantage of the opportunity to unveil the first teaser for “The Killing” season 3, which will launch in June.
In seeing some of the comments online in response to the teaser, it’s already pretty clear that the network is going to have to do some major damage control with this one. Why? The simple answer here is that there are a good many people out there as is who believe that the show was canceled several months ago, when in reality the network made a last-second decision in order to revive it in January, and give showrunner Veena Sud the opportunity to try out a new case for Linden and Holder. Rosie Larsen’s death is now solved, so this will be the first time that the characters can truly move forward.
Sadly, this teaser does not really do much at all to actually share any details about what is coming up. Graphically, it is pretty cool, but are people watching “The Walking Dead” going to be completely mesmerized by this? We’re not quite sure, since they see far creepier things with The Governor on a weekly basis.
With that being said, we hope “The Killing” does well. It may be polarizing, but we much prefer that over a show sticking around that really makes no move at all to push the envelope.
