‘Once Upon a Time’ season 2 spoilers: Meet Belle’s other half, Lacey

If you remember back to “Once Upon a Time” last season, one of the most fascinating parts of the show was seeing how the characters in Storybrooke had personalities that were at times extremely different than their counterparts in the other world. Take, for example, how Ruby was a rebellious party girl compared to Red, how Mary Margaret was innocent and afraid of confrontation, or even how David was the most insecure prince the world had ever known.

Suffice to to say, we’re going to something very similar when the show introduces us to Belle 2.0 in Lacey. This personality is going to manifest on the show’s next new episode in April, as she is finally going to start to remember something after being stuck in the hospital. Unfortunately, it is not of the loving, caring woman that we have come to know over the course of the past season.

Instead, Lacey is a woman who is aggressive, flirtatious, and someone who is not going to be particularly interesting in anything Mr. Gold has to say. To make matters even worse, she could make some alliances with some of the bad eggs in the town. What is going to come out of this? We don’t quite know just yet, but given that there are not too many episodes of this show left before the finale, Rumpelstiltskin is going to need to figure this out soon if he wants a woman at his side again. (This never comes easy for him, does it?)
