‘Psych’ season 7 spoilers:: Some clues on 100th episode

In case you have not heard (which is unlikely, if you are reading this article), Wednesday night marks the much-anticipated 100th episode of “Psych.” This is a chance for the show’s longtime fans to celebrate what has been a great run for the show on USA, and it is also a chance to see the actors pay tribute to one of the greatest cult classics out there: the feature film version of “Clue.”

After seeing this episode in full (save for the secret endings that the network is putting out based on online voting), the first bit of advice we can give here is that you really should check out the movie first. It will inform you of the basic template for the hour, and also allow you to get so many of the references. (Plus, it’s a pretty darn great movie.)

Since there are not 100 teasers we can give you about this episode, we’re going to instead share seven with you since that is the season in which we’re currently on. There are no major plot spoilers ahead, so don’t fret.

1. Even though this is the 100th episode, surprisingly not every series regular makes an appearance.

2. There will be a flashback at the very beginning, but not in the same way that we saw during some of the earlier seasons.

3. There are guest stars galore from the original “Clue” movie, though they are playing different characters in a different sort of scary house.

4. Expect more than one murder.

5. Also, expect more than one instance of Gus getting hungry.

6. After being long introduced by various strange nicknames, Gus will be referred to by the name of someone else in the cast this week.

7. Remember those classic fast-paced monologues at the end of the “Clue” movie? Well, don’t fret: they will be here, as well.
