‘Big Brother Canada’ episode 10 review: Did Tom or Liza win the veto?
On tonight’s episode of “Big Brother Canada” Tom had a seriously bad reaction to being put on the block by Gary, because he didn’t keep his promise to keep Tom off the block and even more so that he put him up against Liza.
After Liza’s attempt to try to calm Tom down failed, Emmett tells him not to worry because Liza’s the target. Emmett is concerned that Tom’s alliance is actually with Liza and no longer with him, so he tells Tom that he went to Gary and asked him to put Tom and Liza on the block together to get Liza out. Tom feels betrayed because Emmett ( or Alec and Peter) didn’t tell him before hand about the plan, but they didn’t trust that Tom wouldn’t tell Liza. Later Liza and Tom try to talk to Gary, but his mind is already made up – he wants the strong players out of the house.
At the Power of Veto competition, Gary, Tom, Liza, Alec, AJ and Jillian are picked to play in the curling challenge which requires the contestants to slide huge ice blocks with non-participating house guests sitting on top of them down a curling rink. Whoever gets their ice block closest to the center circle wins the veto. So who came out on top? Alec was originally hoping to throw the POV, but after talking to Peter he realized it would be in his best interest to win – and he did.
Tom is hoping that Alec is going to take him off the block, but because the Quattro alliance knew Tom was going up and didn’t tell him he just isn’t sure what Alec will do. Alec, Peter and Gary decide that Tom is the target and that Alec will not use the veto, but Alec and Peter want to make sure that Tom doesn’t find out because if he does they feel that he will blow the Quattro alliance’s cover before leaving the house. Alec tells Tom that he isn’t going to be using the veto and he’s upset – just upset enough to tell Liza about the alliance in hopes that if he leaves the house that she will take the alliance down. In the end Alec decided not to use the veto turning Tom into a ticking time bomb.
Do you think that Alec did the right thing not taking Tom off the block? Who do you think will go home tomorrow night on “Big Brother Canada”? Leave us a comment and tell us what you think will happen and if you didn’t have a chance to hear about the shower incident involving Alec and Tom, then be sure to check it out here.
