NBC’s ‘Community’ season 4 spoilers: Britta Britta’s a Sadie Hawkins Dance

CommunityWhile we have seen plenty of Britta trying to press her “skills” in the field of psychology thus far on “Community” season 4, there has been one thing distinctly missing from her character at times: her long-standing love of the protest. Britta loves to be upset at times just for the sake of being upset, and this is something that we are going to see from her again moving into a little bit later in the season.

NBC has released a new press release for their upcoming eighth episode of the season airing on April 4, and the title of it alone is worth a few laughs: “Herstory of Dance.” We’d try to end up explaining the premise here, but we have a feeling that we’d Britta it just in the way that Britta does when it comes to the synopsis below:

“When Dean Pelton (Jim Rash) plans a “Sadie Hawkins” dance at Greendale, Britta (Gillian Jacobs) plans a competing “Sophie B. Hawkins” dance in protest – but the joke is on Britta – who has confused Sophie B. Hawkins with Susan B. Anthony.”

Based solely on the premise alone, it feels as though the comedic possibilities of such an episode are endless in that it gives Britta opportunities to be ridiculous and over-the-top, and we’re sure that there will be some romance (or at least something that looks like romance) involved when it comes to how some of Greendale’s ladies get involved in choosing people to take part. Hopefully, this story will also give us an opportunity to see some more familiar faces at Greendale, including Leonard and well as Magnitude, who needs to give us a little bit more “pop pop” this year.

Oh, and for those who don’t know, Sophie B. Hawkins is a singer.
