‘Game of Thrones’ season 3: Watch the full recap special now!

In one of their many brilliant marketing moves in order to promote “Game of Thrones” season 3, HBO is doing just about everything in their power to ensure that when March 31 rolls around, you are ready … including by reminding you carefully of everything that has transpired to this point.

With this in mind, be sure to check out the extended recap special put on by the network below, which includes just about everything you need to keep track of what transpired in season 2 after the fact. In addition to showcasing some clips from the individual episodes, executive producer David Benioff and D.B. Weiss each speak out about the story along with Peter Dinklage and many other selected cast members. It’s an easy way to get immersed back into Westeros, and it takes you through everything from Dany’s journey in Qarth to the stunning arrival of the White Walkers in the closing seconds of the season.

As for how all of this will translate into the series moving forward, it’s of course a given that the Walkers will have a bit more of a looming presence on the show moving forward. In addition to that, we will be seeing Dany yet again in a new land, Dinklage’s Tyrion struggling with trying to find his place in King’s Landing now that Tywin Lannister is on the scene, and Jon Snow’s journey to meet the noted King Beyond the Wall in Mance Rayder. The scope will be heightened yet again, and we have a feeling the eventual recap video for it will somehow manage to be even more exciting.
