‘The Walking Dead’ season 3 spoilers: Will Andrea overthrow the Governor?
Andrea has been one of the characters that fans have been very hot and cold about on season 3 of “The Walking Dead”, people either love her or hate her, but one thing is becoming clear – she is going to be a hero in some regard.
In a new interview with The Hollywood Reporter actress Laurie Holden (Andrea) revealed that now that her eyes are open about the Governor, things are going to be very different. Different how you might ask? Well now that the Governor has gone off the rails and is hell bent on revenge against Rick and everyone in the prison no one seems to be running Woodbury anymore, so this is a good time for Andrea to step up and try to guide these lost souls towards peace. Will Andrea overthrow the Governor? She said:
“She’s sure going to try. It’s a very tricky second half of the season, and it’s a rollercoaster, so get ready! Andrea is going to do everything she can to try to reach the Governor’s humanity, Rick’s humanity and mediate and calm them down and protect the people. It’s not about choosing sides. It’s more of trying to calm down these men that are acting irrationally and losing their minds. Rick isn’t acting particularly sane himself these days. Mind you, she doesn’t know that, but she’s about to.”
So how will Andrea’s first time reuniting with Rick and the group go? She is hoping to make peace and clear up all of the misunderstandings between her and the group, but things won’t go exactly the way she hoped. She will learn of Shane, Lori and T-Dog’s deaths and it will break her heart. Andrea also really doesn’t know just how much Rick’s group has gone through since she’s been gone and seeing Rick in the state he’s in will really hurt her.
A brand new episode of “The Walking Dead” season 3 airs tonight at 9 p.m. on AMC, so be sure to tune in and see what happens when Andrea sets out to lead the people of Woodbury while the Governor is gone.
