‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 6, episode 17 preview: Sheldon acts … sweet?
There are some things that we never really imagine ever seeing on “The Big Bang Theory,” but then Bill Brady, Steven Molaro, and the rest of the writers and staff find a way to make them work. One of these such things? Sheldon actually giving a comment without being prompted to do so.
On Thursday night’s new episode, we will be witness this stunning event happen, and it is all courtesy of one thing: a guest appearance by Penny on Sheldon Cooper’s famous web series “Fun with Flags,” which is something every fan in the galaxy probably would like to see exist in real life. Apparently, the actress-in-training-for-practically-forever does such a fine job with the on-camera work that Jim Parsons’ character chooses to tell her so in the video sneak peek below, with some intermittent knocking thrown in for good measure.
Sadly for Penny, she for whatever reason chose to force the issue following up these kind words, and offer Sheldon and Amy an opportunity to attend her new theater production a little bit later in the week. His reaction to this idea, tragically, was not nearly as complimentary, and a win for Penny may suddenly now feel like a loss. Though who knows? Maybe the idea of a Sheldon compliment is so few and far between that she will actually take note of this, and try to ignore everything else almost as though it never happened like a bad dream.
Admit it: did you say “aww” when you heard Sheldon say something nice to Penny for a change? On a different note, be sure to also check out some of our “Big Bang Theory” season 6 scoop pertaining to Howard, Bernadette, and more over at the link here.
