‘Glee’ season 4 spoilers: What’s next for Lea Michele, Naya Rivera?
After the epic “I Do” episode of “Glee” airing on Thursday night, it’s certainly understandable to be anxious about what is coming up. Unfortunately, we are first and foremost staring at a wait. Thanks to “American Idol” airing two-hour episodes in Las Vegas before they arrive at their top 20 (a move clearly designed to get all of their singers some screen time), it will be March 7 before the action resumes with the episode “Girls (and Boys) on Film.” It will hopefully be here that we learn the truth about whether or not Rachel is really pregnant, and also what happens next for Kurt and Blaine.
So what can we say specifically about some of the characters? For Rachel, we’re surely about to see a mad scramble as she tries to figure out to do. If the baby is Finn’s, she will at least have someone who she knows will be a loving dad. As for Brody, meanwhile, who really knows anymore? The stunner at the end of the last episode literally came out of nowhere, and it made him right away into someone we don’t like. (Then again, we also don’t like the writers tearing Brody down in order to lift the idea of Finchel being back together up.)
Lea Michele recently tweeted that she is working on some scenes with Naya Rivera, so is it possible that we could be seeing these two have a discussion about it? Sure; even if it is not about that, though, Santana and Rachel could be talking about how the former Cheerio is going to adjust in the Big Apple. While she has arrived there, we still don’t know what she is going to do to work / pursue her dreams. It’s too late in the semester, after all, for her to get into NYADA … and we don’t even know if she wants that.
What do you want to see happen for Rachel and Santana moving forward? If you want to see Darren Criss address what is next for Kurt and Blaine, you can do so over at the link here.

All I hear is that glee will not be cancelled because it makes fox a lot of money, not because the show has any artistic value anymore but that some teenagers buy some itunes and the fourth wall was broken with the glee concerts and the reality show that is a feeder system. The first season of glee had a lot of good acting and the songs were not flashy numbers but honest and true with some sort of heartwarming messages. What happened to this show is that they hired a bunch of cw looking people and some of them had a lousy attitude right from the start and they treated the original cast like a joke. This season of glee feels like an excuse to build up a catalog of songs so that the new glee club can go tour this summer to make more money for the fox coffers. There is no regard for the hard work that was done by Cory and Lea and Matt just an excuse to say hey fans of Finn watch him stick around the old glee club and watch the newbies and hey look Rachel is getting ahead but we have this story line because we overwrote her character and no one believes she will fail at becoming a star so we write this instead. Will we could have shown how you handle the new group differently than the first group as teachers evolve but instead hey sit out the first half of the season for no reason except to have finn stick around and then we will get you back up to speed just in time for the new glee club with that weak actor singing all the time for the next concert tour. I feel used and abused every time I see finn stuck at his old high school or rachel forced to do scenes with the guy who dissed both her character and the show itself. And the only people writing about this show now have slanted biased viewpoints and pander to the audience they need in order to justify their existence they feed the hate mongers and then glee becomes a show people hate watch but that has grown tired because guess what you won all that you wanted has been done problem is the people that loved the show stopped watching because of it.

Just like dawsons creek when they broke up joshua jackson and katie holmes in season 4 and they had no scenes together in season 5 the audience slowly eroded and faded away and the buzz for the show went away as well. You would think people would learn from past mistakes and keep the joy of a show together but sadly no. This is even worse on a show like glee that has like a million characters they want me to be somewhat interested in but without that interaction that makes people engage the show fails and this is what is happening and yet they still want to go down that route. Sad and sadder what a waste.

The problem as I see it is that Cory Monteith is an actor who makes you feel and is very real. Every little mistake his character does is felt more strongly and held to a higher threshold than any character on glee. Ryan had Finn in the outing of Santana storyline on glee for the very reason that he knew how the fans of glee would react. Finn has always been used to help propel other people because Cory is a good screen partner and has an ability to have any scene work well most of the time. The glee writers had him try and sell the marriage and going to new york and fight the world together storyline in season 3 and it worked really really well I admit that this season feels strange because the writers have abused the trust of the audience when they gave such a compelling scene to end season three and then treat the army storyline like a joke and have Finn largely be ignored for the start of the season Finn is not precious but he was never written that way what Finn has become to my utter surprise is the only character on glee that the majority of people can relate to in a human way. Every one who has struggled with the stigma of being classified as not special or adequate and yet they never not succeed but something holds them back. Finn has never been shown to not pull through when the time came to perform not once, yet he has to change his dream of performing why. That is a question I would like answered because the pilot of glee set up Finn through the act of being blackmailed learning to trust his love of performing and learning to dream big. The scene with Rachel where he is scared was a metaphor for how a normal person with a normal personality would react to some of the more flamboyant people who go into acting as a profession. Finn cares just as much as Rachel does but because he came into the field later in life and is not going to slash his wrist or step on people in order to get a solo somehow that makes him unworthy to succeed. This is why the Finn and Rachel dynamic worked for me the tale of two people with different personalities and life experience somehow learning to not only work together but finding a way to like and support each other. I miss that dynamic way more than the romantic part of the relationship that was just an added bonus. This is why the show falls flat when they do not even have scenes together anymore.

Rachel hasn’t forgotten why she is in NY she is actually studying and auditioning for roles. Last season when she was all bout Finn and ready to defer was whine she forgot what her goals were.
Brody I can take or leave him, if he was gone tomorrow don’t really care, but we have no idea what is really going on yet. Plus we also have no idea maybe the birth controlled failed we don’t know if she had unprotected sex. If she did some of that fault lies with your precious Finn.

I totally agree. I have hated Brody from the beginning and I am really glad I have a substantial reason to. The flower scene was the best thing I have scene since last years finale. Bring back Finchel. Who cares if its predictable, it’s the heart and soul of the show.

Tearing Brody down what the heck are you sniffing glue. The guy had three episodes to start the season and bombed I mean he totally bombed This guy is not a very good actor and then went on the war path to try and recruit glee shippers to aide in trying to create buzz for his chartacter. What show are you watching my man because as far as acting goes look at the expression on Finn at the end of the third episode and tell me you did not feel all his anguish and the guy did not even have one word of dialogue.Further, Cory Monteith has not bragged about his role on glee and has not tried to be an expert on other characters on glee to try and stir up buzz, and the amount of abuse this guy and character gets from a certain section of the online community is shocking in both volume and vile yet he remains a gentleman. The flower petal scene was a powerful piece of acting that even the critics that are blatantly against Finn for selfish reasons that have to do with other characters had to acknowledge the power behind it. I hope that Rachel and Finn start getting scenes together again because the acting is so wonderful and interesting to watch. This does not even mean romantic it just could be the friendship that is really missing in her life and in his.

I think its a false positive to give Rachel a big scare, like “please God I’ll never have unprotected sex again, just let me not be pregnant” . She’s kind of forgotten why she is in NY and is struggling with this new “slutty” Rachel vs. the focused driven Rachel and this pregnancy scare is going to get her back on track. That’s what the Torn scene was about, and at least that’s what I’m hoping.

This could also be an opt to discuss an aids-scare thingy. Brody is obviously having un-protected sex…& with muliple & dubious partners. Why not up-grade America on how this disease or affliction is now being addressed & treated – especially in comparison to the horror-story times of the 80’s? Just sayin’….

Totally agree with Tom. Brody/Dean sucks. I doubt Rachel will be pregnant but if she is a lot of people say they don’t want the whole abortion thing. I think it might be an interesting topic to undertake. Glee already tackled the rough road of being a pregnant teenager and keeping it but putting it up for adoption so now it would be getting rid of it but having to thing about the future impact and religion. Plus I would love Lea Michele to get some jucy material that she can knock out of the park.

They aren’t tearing Brody down to build up Finchel. Both the character and actor were terrible from day one. This guys needs to be gona ASAP so Lea can work with actors that can hold their own in a scene w/o looking like a wooden dolt.
