ABC’s ‘Revenge’ season 2 spoilers: Ashley Madekwe teases death

After seeing the end to last Sunday’s new “Revenge” season 2 episode, it was pretty easy to figure out one thing: the honeymoon trip for Jack and Amanda was not going to end well. While there is no guarantee that either one of them is going to end up losing their lives, somebody will based on the flash-forward from the start of the season that features a body submerged aboard a boat … the same one that these newlyweds drifted out to sea on following their wedding.

Just in case you needed even more confirmation for whatever reason that a death is indeed coming very soon, just check out what series star Ashley Madekwe had to say in a new chat with E! News about this very subject, and how on this show you can never feel too comfortable when it comes to your job:

“After every wedding, you must have a death, so someone’s dying … The life expectancy on that show is insane. In the first season, we didn’t know who was dying. We just knew somebody was dying, because we had that body on the beach. But in this season, we knew in advanced who was dying.”

Based on the fact that Sunday night’s episode title is “Sacrifice,” it may also be pretty safe to assume that whoever does end up dying will be someone who legitimately leaves a gaping hole in the cast, and one that will bring sadness rather than joy. If it is Amanda or JAck, you have to believe that life for Emily Thorne will never really be the same.
